After a decade of multi-genre collaborations, Dina Simone steps into the spotlight with their solo-debut single, “AMFAD” from their forthcoming EP “(Mostly) Pussy Songs.”

“AMFAD” (All My Friends Are Dead) is the story of haunting relationships left behind that exorcised demons and launched Simone’s expedition of self-discovery.

“I’ve lost a lot of close friends and family to mental illness - more specifically, suicides and drug overdoses. This song originated as a result of my past experiences and the desire to connect with someone on a deep level, be it romantically or platonically. I quickly gathered that my experiences are too much for some folks. I’m too intense. Relationships end abruptly and I blame myself,” Simone said. “But after the sadness passed, I found strength to take care of myself by letting it all out.”
